Clothing & Food Pantry

Hintgen Elementary has a Clothing & Food Pantry located near our main office. 

Clothing Pantry -  We receive new clothing and outerwear from various community organizations.  In addition, school parents donate their children's gently used clothing to benefit the students and families at our school.  

Food Pantry - Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has "adopted" our school as part of their charitable outreach.  Parishioners donate funds toward the purchase of food for our weekly food bags that are sent home for families in need of a little extra help.  They deliver the food to us and our counselor bags everything up and gets it to our students.

We also have a program called "Healthy Snacks for Hintgen Students."  We have several donors who have helped us in purchasing the daily snacks that we provide for the classrooms.  Community members are always welcome to donate to our fund as well!

There is a "Little Food Giveaway" outside the front door for students and community members to access at any time.
